NanoMalayisa Showcases Sustainability Potential of Nanomaterials in the Automotive Sector
Malaysia-based firms NanoMalaysia and Micratto Technologies developed a graphene-enhanced automotive lubricant, showcasing the potential of Nano thin materials in the automotive sector. Nanomalaysia calls its new lubricant “Phenom Graphene”. The new graphene enhanced lubricant was recently completed and commercialized under the Infinoil brand. The new product has great potential in the automotive and energy sector. NanoMalaysia CEO stated that their new auto lubricant infused with functionalized graphene showed improved energy efficiency though remarkable attributes such as lower friction, higher heat dissipation, and enhanced oxidative stability. All of these advantages promise lower carbon emissions, a longer shelf life, and extended engine lifespan. Furthermore, the commercialization of the new “Graphene Phenom” Product is expected to create job opportunities and stimulate the Malaysian economy. Learn more here.
